On Wednesday the very center was awarded $46,939 to Buy Madden Overdrive Coins boost and expand child-related services within Monroe County.

State Rep. Maureen Madden announced the funding “Monroe County needs this sort of funding to oversee your day-to-day activities for the child advocacy center,” said Madden, D-Monroe. “Centers such as this are a fundamental element of our community development, particularly when children are involved from the healing and recovery efforts.”

The funding can also be used to offer the salary of the Madden Overdrive Coins executive director, an intake/administrative assistant along with operating needs.
